This strain is more fruity than WLP001, and slightly more flocculant. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer. This yeast can be used to ferment Scottish ales because of its lower attenuation than its sister strain WLP001. Try this yeast with Pale ales and IPA's. To ferment this yeast properly pitch at 62-65F and let it rise to 66-68F. Ferment for 10-14 days in the primary.
